I use mindfulness-based therapy methods and have training to help adults who have experienced recent trauma as well as childhood trauma especially sexual abuse; also, current issues with self-harm, dissociation, obsessive thoughts and suicidal thoughts. Education is part of the process of change and I hope to give you useful materials and tools to help with anxiety and depression, regulate emotions, and increase awareness in order to find a healthy balance and improve well-being.
I am certified in evidence-based trauma therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Lifespan Integration (LI) and trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS). I work with couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Marriage Therapy, both effective methods to help improve your relationship and work through conflict.
